U.15 Schools Cup All Ireland Champions 2019

It all started off in October in Mounthawk when we faced two strong secondary schools in the qualifiers: A.G. from Cork, who have a very strong team, and Éanna from Dublin. We played A.G. first and had a comfortable win. Next we played A.G. We played very well as it was a blowout game. We then waited for all the other qualifiers to be played. We would face one of the three teams that emerged from the qualifiers in the All-Ireland semi-final. We got drawn against Malahide and the other semi-final was between St. Joseph’s The Bish, and Marian. We played tremendously against Malahide and won by 10 points in the end. In the other game, The Bish beat Marian by 1.
We knew this game was what we had worked for over the last two years in the school and that it would be great to accomplish it. We played the Bish in the final and won by 17 because we played the best basketball we could play and we won the A All-Ireland.
